Hello! My name is Ekeoma Ajah and I live with my husband and three children in Lagos, Nigeria. I have earned a Bachelor’s degree in Science, a Postgraduate Diploma in Management, an MBA, and other professional qualifications. Additionally, I am a candidate of the prestigious American-based CFA institute. I worked in the finance industry for almost two decades and have now left it behind to pursue my other passions.
I admit to a longtime passion for children, which has driven me to spend years teaching children in my local church. This passion culminated in the publishing of my first children’s book, Pointy Panta Goes AWOL. I am currently working on a sequel..
Being an advocate for children and women’s rights (widows in particular); I have noted how children suffer when their parents get divorced or when they exist in dysfunctional marriages. The main focus of my adult fiction will be to discuss things that people try to pretend do not exist or would prefer to talk about behind closed doors, while thoroughly entertaining you. My desire is that my books will not only entertain my readers but start conversations which hopefully will culminate in behavioral changes.
When I am not busy writing books or articles, I spend my time traveling to new places, doing some architectural finishing, studying to become a Certified Financial Analyst, championing women’s rights, watching crime drama and animations – both of which I absolutely love, and doing charity work. Otherwise, I have my hands full trying out the things on my evolving and rather scary bucket list, as well as doing some church work.
