Pointy Panta, a young, adorable porcupine with a happy, adventurous disposition is glad to be on her way to class. Why not, today is her chance to meet the Governor, who is scheduled to visit her school.

The visit requires her class to take part in cleaning up operations, and Pointy’s team is assigned the task of bagging grass cut by the other children who are to mow the lawn. Pointy, however, is disheartened to learn that she is to tie up the bags. Unable to get over the disappointment, she finds comfort under the shade of a mango tree, whereupon a gentle breeze soon lulls her to sleep.

Pointy is about to discover some important life lessons, and she does so in a hurry when she wakes up.
